Playaways are here!
Caruthersville Public Library was the lucky recipient of over 25 Playaway audiobook listening devices from Camden County Library in Osage Beach. The director there, Michael Davis, asked if anyone wanted the Playaways and we were first to respond.
These Playaways differ from regular CD audiobooks because they are self-contained players that can be attached to your vehicle with an auxiliary cable for in-car listening, even if you don’t have a CD player. For at-home listening, you need only plug in headphones or earbuds – the book is loaded on the device.
The normal cost of the Playaways is $90.00 so we saved the library patrons almost $25.00 by taking this donation.
